AARGM-ER

AARGM-ER

THE CHALLENGE

MTSI’s Operations Analysis Group was approached by their customer with a need to create a video to describe their vision for an enhanced version of an existing missile system. It would need to strike a balance between being technical in nature, but also illustrative of future concepts.

OUR PROCESS

The OA Group brought the request to the Studio, and together we met with the customer to determine what details they wanted to convey in their video, and how best to tell their story.

Working closely with the customer, a script was written that segmented the video into two parts: an overview of the missile system with an appropriate level of technical details, and a notional scenario to illustrate the missile’s capabilities in action – each tailored to the video’s intended audience.

The editing process continued as storyboards were hand-drawn to identify how the pertinent concepts would be visually represented and timed out in a series of animations that would make up the video.

RESULTS

Using the storyboards as a guide, the animated sequences and narrated script were incorporated into a cohesive video that describes the vision of the customer.
